A handsome, loud, deeply divisive climate satire. Tom Cruise commits completely as an oil tycoon, and the large-format images are not in dispute, but the comedy misses for many critics who found it messy and smug.
Worth a big screen if you want an ambitious swing; wait if you need your satire reliably funny.
