The Last First: Winter K2

A sober, well-made documentary about the 2021 rush to make the first winter ascent of K2. Its best material is the argument over blame and the question of who films whom; its weakness, for some critics, is that the story feels familiar and over-busy. Critics are warm but split on how far it rises above the genre.
